ADAS, part of RSK Group, is looking for a Project Administrator to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Gleadthorpe office near Mansfield, Notts.  Office-based initially for training, after which hybrid working will be available.

The successful candidate will support the Senior Project Administrator with financial and project administration tasks, helping to improve business processes and maintain financial controls within our project accounting system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise and issue sales invoices to clients, including multi-currency projects.
  • Create purchase order numbers and process supplier invoices ensuring details are coded accurately.
  • Request credit checks and set up new client and supplier accounts.
  • Assist Senior Project Administrator in gathering information to support projects with a claims process.
  • Assist Project Managers to maintain accurate project data.
  • Prepare and distribute project reports.
  • Keep central project files up to date.
  • Work to month end processes.
  • Work with the team to assist with the improvement of business processes and the application of financial controls.
  • General office duties, providing cover for general administrator, ordering office supplies and health and safety tasks.
  • To ensure maximum flexibility and to reflect the Company's evolving needs, you may be asked to perform additional tasks that may be reasonably expected within your level of capability without additional remuneration.

Personal Specifications

  • Previous internal purchasing/project administration experience would be desirable.
  • To have good data accuracy and attention to detail with a good level of numeracy and IT skills.
  • High-level keyboard and computing skills using MS Word, Excel and Access.
  • To be well organised and efficient with confident and professional communication skills.
  • To work flexibly as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working without supervision.
  • Capable of working under pressure and prioritising workload to meet tight deadlines.
  • An appreciation of business needs and the need for control and profit.
