Location: BYD Swansea SA7 9FH
Salary: £20,000 Basic Salary with Uncapped OTE Plus Car Allowance
Hours of work: 5 days a week - our showroom opening hours are 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 8.30am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm. Late nights and weekends on a rota basis.

Sinclair Group is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our growing BYD team. This is a fantastic opportunity to represent one of the world's fastest-growing automotive brands and the UK's leading EV brand.
About the Role
As a Sales Executive, you will guide customers through their vehicle-buying journey, from initial enquiry and vehicle demonstrations through to delivery and aftersales follow-up. You will represent an exciting range of innovative electric and hybrid vehicles while helping customers make the transition to the latest automotive technology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer enquiries both in person and online
- Identifying customer needs and recommending the right vehicle solution
- Conducting professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
- Following up leads and maximising sales opportunities
- Promoting finance, insurance and additional products
- Building long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Achieving individual and team sales targets
- Maintaining accurate customer records using CRM systems
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the sales journey
- Maintaining excellent product knowledge across the BYD range
- Working with and supporting a small sales team
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales experience, ideally within the motor industry
- Naturally confident, friendly, and approachable
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a target-driven approach
- Strong organisational and IT skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Driven to develop their career within the automotive industry
- Full UK driving licence
