The role
You'll be responsible for diagnosing faults accurately and carrying out high-quality mechanical and electrical repairs across a variety of vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- Electrical and mechanical diagnosis
- Engine management and drivability diagnostics
- Servicing and maintenance
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Using OEM diagnostic equipment and technical information
- Supporting colleagues with complex faults
- Carrying out quality control checks
- Diagnosing faults accurately to achieve first-time fixes
- Repairing vehicles to a high professional standard
You'll have the equipment, information and support needed to diagnose vehicles properly rather than simply working through jobs as quickly as possible.
About you
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys diagnostics, problem solving and technical work, and takes pride in getting vehicles fixed correctly.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic, Master, Senior or Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Experience with Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda or BMW
- Experience using professional or OEM-level diagnostic equipment
- NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- A professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
